The July market saw us celebrate the 8th Anniversary of the Market. Mary's Homemade Cakes baked a fabulous raspberry cake using John Jones's raspberries.
The cafe produced a buffet for the traders with one of the original traders, Ian Lloyd, proud to accept the first plate of food! |

There is plenty of free parking in the car park or on the street.
There are local bus and train services, please see www.merseytravel.org
We have a blog, click here to read all about us.
The Wirral Farmers' Market producer of the year awards were presented in August.
The joint producers of the year were Beef Direct and W&F Neale, receiving their awards from Anne Benson, Chairman of Wirral Farmers' Market. Click here for the full results.
The largest market in the area, we have over 30 stalls at each event ranging from vegetables, meat, fish and bread to chocolate, cheese and beer!
You can make a family trip with a great cafe and local shops in New Ferry.
With hundreds of visitors, Wirral Farmers' Market is a great place to trade.
The market is currently oversubscribed and we have limited space, however we hold a waiting list and should a registered stallholder be unable to attend we can offer people on the waiting list a temporary stall. Please complete the Application form to apply.
To maintain a balanced market we try to balance the types of produce on offer to give customers the widest possible choice.
Wirral Farmers' Market is a voluntary/community group and all profits are re-invested in the local community.
Since 2003 we have put £16,000 in to the community through our grants. Click here for more more information.
The market is run by volunteers with the support of the local council.

If you are a local organisation that would like to find out more or work with us then please email us.

Mary’s Cakes and Little Green Men have been picked to go through to the next round of this competition after a grilling by top judges such as John Burton Race at an event at St George’s Hall.
They will be heading down to London soon to be filmed making their dishes for the television.
Mary won through with her Strawberry Tart, featuring John Jones’ strawberries picked at 5am that morning. While Rich wowed with a spicy Lancashire Hotpot.

Wirral Council has joined the Recycle Now Home Composting Campaign and they brought their bins and educational material to the market. You can order the products from www.recyclenow.com
